About
Hi, I am Claire
I started my mindfulness journey when I was working as a freelance translator. Realising the constant time pressure and demands were taking a toll on my mind and body, I began exploring tools to look after my wellbeing. I’ve now been practising yoga for nearly 20 years and meditation for nearly 15 years. In 2018, I attended a mindfulness-based stress reduction course that provided the missing piece to my meditation and yoga practice. Mindfulness turned my idea of self-care and wellness on its head.
After just a few weeks of practice, my mind was more focused, I slept better, I reacted less to stressful situations, and I enjoyed life more, and it had ripple effects on my family and colleagues.
It also made me realise that modern life poses challenges to adults and children alike, and when I came across ‘Mindfulness Matters’ The Eline Snel Method, a renowned mindfulness course adapted to children, I knew I wanted to teach mindfulness to as many young people as possible. After qualifying as a mindfulness child trainer and teaching children for a while, it seemed only natural to train to teach mindfulness to adults too.
I offer in-depth, structured mindfulness courses for adults and children and teenagers. I create a safe space for participants
to learn mindfulness tools, which they can take away and apply to their day-to-day lives.
I had the privilege of training twice with Eline Snel herself for the children and teenagers courses, and I had the honour of having my Mindfulness Teacher Training for Adults course validated by Daizan Skinner. Since 2019,
I have been designing and developing my own course content that draws on the most respected mindfulness teachers' work, such as Jon Kabat-Zinn, Tara Brach, Thich Nhat Hanh, Eckhart Tolle, and Jack Kornfield.
I also have been teaching French and translation at top London universities, including Imperial College, for over ten years,
so I have a deep understanding of the impact of stress and pressure on education staff as well as on young people.
As a parent to two daughters, I have experienced first-hand how challenging and testing the times we live in can be for children, teenagers and young adults.
I teach in English and French, which is my mother tongue, but my mindfulness training was in English, and I have lived in London for 25 years.
I am fully insured, and I hold an enhanced DBS certification.
Take a look at my testimonials to see some comments from past course participants.

I have access to personal support from mentors in both organisations, whom I can contact whenever I need advice about a client.
CPD complements my daily mindfulness and yoga practice, as well as the self-development and knowledge building workshops I regularly attend.
